BBJ Linen Launches Home Decor Website 'Atelier by BBJ'

Chicago-based linen rental company BBJ launches Atelier by BBJ, a retail site providing unique home décor and custom linen products for homeowners.

CHICAGO, March 28, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- BBJ, a Chicago-based linen rental company, recently launched Atelier by BBJ: www.atelierbbj.com, a retail website focused on offering linen and home goods to homeowners. As a leader in the event linen rental industry since 1983, BBJ carries over their table décor and design expertise to the Atelier business that provides custom design, in-house manufacturing, and sale of unique home décor and accessories. Atelier products are for sale at their showroom and online, with nationwide shipping available.

This retail website features clean lines and a smooth-functioning interface, great for shopping for various housewares and other accessories. Products are available for several rooms of the home, including the kitchen, dining room, bedroom, bath, living room and family rooms. From table accessories to handbags and everything in between, Atelier aims to bridge the gap between BBJ's rental services and residential home product needs.

With the launch of this new site, many of the same fabrics that BBJ customers are familiar with will be available in new product offerings perfectly sized and designed for homes. New linen products include dining and kitchen tablecloths, throw pillows, shower curtains, fashion aprons and more.  Atelier also offers a selection of handbags, including totes, clutches and purses, by Lola Valentina. Many products are created with BBJ fabrics that customers are familiar with while others introduce all new textiles.

BBJ President Bonnie Dannen said of the Atelier launch, "We are proud to offer customers products from a brand they can rely on for quality, and now we have expanded our line from rentals only to retail sales—now, our customers have all of the BBJ fabrics they know and love available to them for use in the home, from pillows and pillow covers to table linens and table runners, napkins, handbags, and much more. We are pleased to bring our design and artistry expertise to homeowners all over."

The launch of the website comes shortly after the opening of the local Atelier showroom and design center in Skokie, IL, adjacent to BBJ's corporate showroom and headquarters. At the local showroom, Atelier also offers customers the option to work with a designer in creating customized products, with a selection of fabrics for patterns, reverse and trim options, resizing, and other design elements. This allows Atelier customers to truly make the product their own—perfect for having one-of-a-kind home décor and accessories.

Atelier has a heavy focus on unique design, with "atelier" being a French word meaning artist's workshop or designer's studio.  With that in mind, BBJ has created Atelier to design and craft quality, unique home décor and accessories that allow homeowners to distinguish themselves, and set their homes apart, with products not found elsewhere.  Designed and made in the United States, at the Skokie, IL showroom, Atelier products offer their customers the high level of quality to match that of BBJ Linen.
