Traxpay Recognized for Best B2B Payments Innovation at Innovation Project™ 2014 Conference Awards

Traxpay, the world’s first and only B2B Dynamic Payments provider today announced the receipt of a Bronze award in the Best B2B Payments Innovation category at the Innovation Project 2014 conference. The Innovation Project, the most prestigious annual conference focused on the reinvention of the payments industry, took place on March 19-20, 2014.

“The awards are particularly meaningful because the finalists are vetted by judges who really understand the space and are then voted on by the PYMNTS community,” said Karen Webster, president of PYMNTS.com, the organizer of the event. “This year’s award finalists comprised the highest-caliber innovators in the industry, and I’m delighted to recognize our elite group of award winners.”

The Innovation Project recognized companies and individual leaders for excellence in the payments industry in a wide variety of segments. These included the Innovator Awards™, viewed as the most prestigious recognition in the payments industry, where 69 finalists competed for 15 prestigious awards. Other awards handed out include the first PYMNTS Catalyst Award, a Women Driving Innovation in Payments Award and a Best in Show Award honoring a cool, new innovator in the payments industry.

Traxpay was one of three companies honored for excellence in the Best B2B Payments Innovation category. Traxpay transforms the way that businesses pay and get paid with the world’s first and only B2B dynamic transactions platform. The patent pending platform uniquely combines secure, flexible, real-time 24/7/365 electronic payments with any and all structured and unstructured data related to the transaction. What further sets Traxpay apart from all others is its unique workflow engine that automatically monitors and dynamically affects changes to the who, what, when, where, why, and how of a payment, while keeping all the data, changing business conditions, and the transaction synchronized.

“Using automation, intelligence, and transparency, B2B commerce network operators have enabled easier and more efficient communication and interaction across entire supply chains, but sadly, these gains are completely lost when it comes to the last mile of the transaction – the payment itself,” said David Desharnais, Traxpay’s CMO & SVP of Product. “This esteemed industry recognition acknowledges our determination to revolutionize the market for B2B payments with leading-edge Dynamic Payments technology that was created specifically for the needs of B2B trade, and addresses the many pain points in a market that is ripe for disruption.”
