SYDNEY, March 28, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- FinaMetrica, the leading psychometric risk profiling software provider for financial advisors, has received the Risk Profiling Solution Award by Family Wealth Report in the US market. Winners in all award categories were announced at the gala awards dinner, which was held on March 13, 2014 at the Metropolitan Club in New York City.
Showcasing "best of breed" providers in the global private banking, wealth management and trusted advisor communities, the Family Wealth Report Awards recognize companies, teams and individuals, which the prestigious panel of judges deem to have "demonstrated innovation and excellence during 2013."
"FinaMetrica's risk profiling solution has attracted widespread international acclaim and usage," said FinaMetrica Co-founder Geoff Davey. "The web-based risk tolerance test operates in 23 countries and is offered in seven languages. The test is easy to do and takes respondents just 15 minutes to complete. The respondents risk tolerance report is produced immediately, with a score of between 1 and 100. Unlike other inferior competing products, FinaMetrica's test is objective and backed up by statistical analysis that makes it valid, reliable and accurate."
Commenting on the firm's award, FinaMetrica Co-founder Paul Resnik said, "We are delighted to be recognized by Family Wealth Report for our risk profiling solution. Advisers tell us that getting risk tolerance right is critical to their clients' successful investment experience. We have developed our test and risk communications in conjunction with some of the most successful professional advisors and academics on the planet. The FinaMetrica methodology has been designed to ensure clients have the best investment experience possible despite the tribulations of the markets."
According to ClearView Financial Media's Managing Director, and Publisher of Family Wealth Report, Stephen Harris, "These awards are judged solely on the basis of entrants' submissions and their response to a number of specific questions, which had to be answered focusing on the client experience, not quantitative performance metrics. That is a unique, and I believe, compelling feature. These awards recognize the very best operators in the private client industry, with 'independence', 'integrity' and 'genuine insight' the watchwords of the judging process – such that the awards truly reflect excellence in wealth management."
OTHER PENDING HONORS

Those awards will be presented on April 3 and May 15, respectively. FinaMetrica has entered its solution in the Risk Profiling Solution categories.

Psychometrics, a blend of psychology and statistics, is the scientific discipline for testing attributes such as risk tolerance. Launched in 1998, the system is now used by 5,500 advisers in 23 countries in seven languages. More than 650,000 profiles have been completed. There is an ever-growing explosion of new devices that are connected to the Internet using “cloud” solutions. This rapid growth is creating a massive new demand for efficient access to data. And it’s not just about connecting to that data anymore. This new demand is bringing new issues and challenges and it is important for companies to scale for the coming growth. And with that scaling comes the need for greater security, gathering and data analysis, storage, connectivity and, of course, the...

A critical component of any IoT project is the back-end systems that capture data from remote IoT devices and structure it in a way to answer useful questions. Traditional data warehouse and analytical systems are mature technologies that can be used to handle large data sets, but they are not well suited to many IoT-scale products and the need for real-time insights. At Fuze, we have developed a backend platform as part of our mobility-oriented cloud service that uses Big Data-based approache...
