Clipstream(R) Cross-Platform Playerless Streaming Video Solution Marketing Campaign Expanded to Include Market Research Sites

VANCOUVER, March 31, 2014 /PRNewswire/ - Destiny Media Technologies (TSXV: DSY) (OTCQX: DSNY) today announced that it is extending and expanding its marketing campaign.

On February 25th, the company announced that it would run an advertisement in the Clipstream® format (http://tinyurl.com/clipstream-ad) across the following properties: http://www.streamingmedia.com, http://www.webdeveloper.com, http://www.developer.com, http://www.devx.com, http://www.codeguru.com, http://www.htmlgoodies.com, http://www.flashkit.com and two e-newsletters for new web development technologies. This campaign targeting web developers will continue past the original 750 thousand impressions into the future.

The company has expanded this campaign with a second commercial in the Clipstream® format (http://tinyurl.com/clipstream-survey-ad) targeting market research companies who would use Clipstream® for video questionnaires. Typical applications include test marketing sensitive and pre-release television commercials, movie trailers, TV pilots, concepts and product demonstrations. Unlike other technologies, video in this format is secure and successfully reaches a higher number of cross-platform respondents, including mobile users.  Because the solution is playerless, there is nothing for viewers to configure or install.

The new ads will run on the front pages of CASRO http://casro.net/directory.aspx and Quirks http://www.quirks.com/directory/software/index.aspx.

CASRO is The Council of American Survey Research Organizations. They represent more than 325 member companies and their 32,000 employees, all of whom are afforded membership benefits.  These companies represent nearly $8 billion in global annual revenue and include about 85% of the U.S. research industry and 30% of the global research industry. Quirks Market Research Media reaches 17,000 subscribers in dozens of countries and has 6,500 subscribers to its monthly digital edition. They also have over 19,000 e-newsletter readers and their website attracts more than 65,000 visitors per month.

These ads in the new Clipstream® format are compliant with Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) standards and are integrated with Google Doubleclick and Google Ad Manager. The ads serve as a proof of concept for other advertisers that may want to reach a larger cross-platform audience with a single video format.

The basic integration architecture, as defined by ESBs, hasn’t changed for more than a decade. Most cloud integration providers still rely on an ESB architecture and their proprietary connectors. As a result, enterprise integration projects suffer from constraints of availability and reliability of these connectors that are not re-usable across other integration vendors. However, the rapid adoption of APIs and almost ubiquitous availability of APIs amongst most SaaS and Cloud applications are ra...

The Internet of Things is not only adding billions of sensors and billions of terabytes to the Internet. It is also forcing a fundamental change in the way we envision Information Technology. For the first time, more data is being created by devices at the edge of the Internet rather than from centralized systems. What does this mean for today's IT professional? In this Power Panel at @ThingsExpo, moderated by Conference Chair Roger Strukhoff, panelists addressed this very serious issue of pro...
Manufacturing has widely adopted standardized and automated processes to create designs, build them, and maintain them through their life cycle. However, many modern manufacturing systems go beyond mechanized workflows to introduce empowered workers, flexible collaboration, and rapid iteration. Such behaviors also characterize open source software development and are at the heart of DevOps culture, processes, and tooling.
Internet of Things is moving from being a hype to a reality. Experts estimate that internet connected cars will grow to 152 million, while over 100 million internet connected wireless light bulbs and lamps will be operational by 2020. These and many other intriguing statistics highlight the importance of Internet powered devices and how market penetration is going to multiply many times over in the next few years.
