NanoMech Breaks Ground on Global Campus

Today NanoMech will host the Springdale Chamber of Commerce and area leaders during its ground breaking ceremony, to be held at 2pm at the Springdale factory. The approximate 25,000 square foot building will triple the size of current operations and will serve as the company’s world headquarters, with an anticipated completion date in September. While the new facility will connect to the existing building, the company has purchased the adjacent 7.3 acre tract for future development providing the company with the ability to expand on a contiguous 9 acre campus. Miller Boskus Lack Architects, P.A. of Fayetteville, Arkansas, designed the new headquarters factory and labs. Arkansas based Kinco Constructors is the general contractor.

The initial production factory will be complete by July. NanoMech is located at 2447 Technology Way in Springdale, with additional offices in Dallas and Houston, TX and Detroit, MI, as well as an accounting and finance office at the University of Arkansas Research Park Enterprise Center.

NanoMech, founded in 2003, is the result of a successful public/private partnership (PPP) between the private sector, the State of Arkansas, major universities, and the federal government. State and city officials worked alongside company leadership to make the company’s new global campus become a reality.
