Nimbus Data Ranked #1: Gemini All-Flash Array Declared “Best-in-Class” in DCIG All-Flash Research Report

Nimbus Data Systems, Inc., the leading innovator in next-generation flash memory infrastructure, today announced that its Gemini all-flash arrays received the top-ranking in the 2014-15 Flash Memory Storage Array Buyer’s Guide published by independent storage research firm DCIG, LLC. Analysts with DCIG evaluated 39 offerings from 20 companies, selecting Nimbus Data’s Gemini F600 and F400 as Best-in-Class (#1) and Recommended (#2), respectively.

The analysis was based on an initial survey of more than 150 questions from each of the participating companies. Product capabilities were then assessed based on data provided by the vendor, prior DCIG research, and information available in the public domain. After gathering all necessary information, the product features were then scored and weighted by DCIG analysts. Once scores were compiled, products were rated Best-in-Class, Recommended, Excellent, Good, or Basic, which were determined by core functionality and capability relative to the other products included in the Buyer’s Guide.
