RUN, the leader in mobile-focused programmatic advertising technology, today announced the appointment of two ad industry veterans to help lead the company into its next major phase of growth. Joining RUN are Chief Revenue Officer Jason Askinasi, formerly of Undertone, and Vice President of Programmatic Media Services, Jacob Lustig, who joins from Affiperf, a division of Havas Media Worldwide.
“This is a transformational time at RUN, and I couldn’t be more excited to welcome both Jay and Jacob, as we capitalize on our exponential growth,” said Seth Hittman, co-founder and CEO of RUN. “These key appointments further solidify our position as a leader in programmatic advertising.”
During his nearly seven years at Undertone, Askinasi played an invaluable role in the company’s expansion. While serving as Vice President of Sales, he managed annual revenue in excess of $100 million across video, display and mobile advertising, in addition to overseeing his own division of 30 employees.
“As brands and agencies alike struggle to understand how to best reach today’s end user, it has become clear that programmatic advertising is the winning solution and the future of the industry,” said Askinasi. "Of the companies in this space, RUN's mobile data solutions really made them stand out – particularly their Cookie Translator™ and first-party audience activations across all screens."
Working alongside Askinasi, Lustig brings 15 years of brand and agency expertise, most recently as Director of Programmatic Media at Havas’ Affiperf. He will oversee media investment practices and strategic planning, as well as campaign management operations.
Lustig added, “I’m excited to be joining RUN as they usher in a new way of using technology to empower global companies to reach target audiences, regardless of location or device – be it mobile, tablet, desktop or TV.”

DevOps is often described as a combination of technology and culture. Without both, DevOps isn't complete. However, applying the culture to outdated technology is a recipe for disaster; as response times grow and connections between teams are delayed by technology, the culture will die. A Nutanix Enterprise Cloud has many benefits that provide the needed base for a true DevOps paradigm.

With billions of sensors deployed worldwide, the amount of machine-generated data will soon exceed what our networks can handle. But consumers and businesses will expect seamless experiences and real-time responsiveness. What does this mean for IoT devices and the infrastructure that supports them? More of the data will need to be handled at - or closer to - the devices themselves.
