59 Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group Physicians featured in The Washingtonian Magazine 'Top Doctors' List

Kaiser Permanente physicians consistently rank among the region's elite physicians

In addition to the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group physicians being recognized as the "best of the best" in Washingtonian Magazine, Kaiser Permanente scored the highest among Maryland health maintenance organization (HMO) plans in the Maryland Health Care Commission's 2013 Health Benefit Plan Quality and Performance Report: Measuring the Quality and Performance of Maryland's Commercial Health Benefit Plans.

In 'NCQA's Health Insurance Plan Rankings 2013-2014,' Kaiser Permanente of the Mid-Atlantic States ranked among the top 20 Commercial and Medicare health plans nationwide. In the national Commercial category, Kaiser Permanente of the Mid-Atlantic States ranked 16 out of 484 plans, and is considered a "Best Value" health plan. In the Medicare category, Kaiser Permanente jumped four spots to #8 out of 405 plans nationwide.

Every year, The Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) surveys consumers about their experiences with health plans and their services. This survey has become the national standard for measuring and reporting on the consumer satisfaction with their health plans.
