Reception for prestigious honor for selection to the Top7 to be held at the Columbus Museum of Art

OLDSMAR, Fla., April 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Global Convergence, Inc. (GCI), Parent to Network Dynamics, Inc. (NDI) announces that it will participate in a special reception to recognize and honor the City of Columbus, OH for its selection as one of the Top7 Intelligent Communities for 2014.  This is the second year in a row that the City of Columbus has been recognized as one of the Top7 Intelligent Communities in the world by the Intelligent Community Forum (ICF), chosen from hundreds of evaluated communities from around the world.

According to ICF co-founder, Lou Zacharilla, each finalist made it to the list by demonstrating how they have begun to fuse technology, culture and collaboration for economic sustainability.  The City of Columbus was chosen in part for its recovery from the 2008 recession by achieving 20,000 more jobs than it had during the 2007 economic peak, and is a finalist for the 2014 Intelligent Community of the Year.
