The Fraser Institute/Media Advisory: Should Canada Give Mineral Rights to First Nations? New Study Coming Thursday, April 3

CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 04/02/14 -- On Thursday, April 3, the Fraser Institute will release a new study examining how private ownership of mineral rights, including mineral rights for First Nations, could improve Canada's attractiveness for mining investment.

The study, Divergent Mineral Rights Regimes, notes that Canada, unlike the United States, does not allow private ownership of mineral rights.
