Top Technology Leaders to Speak at Bloomberg Summit

Following the cybersecurity breaches at Target, Sears and other major retailers, the evolution of today’s technology reflects the need for business executives to keep up-to-date with new innovations and challenges that could potentially disrupt the current marketplace. The Bloomberg Enterprise Technology Summit will look at a how corporations and governments plan to address the hurdles facing cybersecurity in this new age of technology.

This year, the Summit will be held on Thursday, April 24, at the Bowery Hotel in New York City. It is held bi-annually in New York and London, bringing together an audience of the biggest procurers and producers of enterprise technology from the public and private sectors. Since its inception, the Summit has covered low-latency strategy and high frequency trading, and this year will be no exception, given recent attention on High Frequency Trading and dark pools.

The Summit will include discussions surrounding cloud strategy and security, IT restructuring strategies, modern datacenters, healthcare IT and new ideas for the enterprise, with a focus on financial services companies.

The Summit will also feature Pitch Roulette, a LINK conference staple, in which upcoming technology pioneers will each have four minutes to present concepts to a panel of enterprise investors and decision makers. The panel will then break down their business models and advise them on how to take their concepts to the next level.

In a special one-on-one conversation, Gus Hunt, former CIA Chief Technology Officer and President and CEO of Hunt Technology, LLC will sit down with Bloomberg News cybersecurity reporter Michael Riley to discuss the state of security today.
