Liquid Nutrition Board of Directors Appointment

MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwired) -- 04/02/14 -- Liquid Nutrition Group Inc. (TSX VENTURE: LQD) is very pleased to announce the appointment of Johanne Brunet, Ph.D., to its Board of Directors effective immediately.

Johanne Brunet is an associate professor and the Chair of the Department of Marketing at HEC Montreal. She teaches executives, EMBA and MBA students. She is co-director of the Catalytic Mindset of the EMBA McGill -HEC Montreal. Her research interests lie in innovation, creativity, international marketing, strategic alliances and cultural industries as well as performance measurement and indicators. She obtained her Ph.D. degree from the University of Warwick, UK. She is an accountant (CPA-CGA) and also holds an MBA from HEC Montreal. She has a diploma in governance from the College des administrateurs de societes (CAS). Before joining HEC Montreal, Professor Brunet worked in the media industry for organizations such as the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) and TV5 Americas.

Professor Brunet serves on various boards of directors, such as the SAQ (Societe des alcools du Quebec), the SHDM (Societe d'habitation et de developpement de Montreal) and the Theatre du Rideau vert. She is a member of the International Advisory Board at Regents' University in London and Magna Carta Business School in Oxford. She has served on a number of other committees and boards of directors in England. She has also served on the Board of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.

In 1999, Professor Brunet received the Action femmes d'affaires award from the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal. She was selected as a finalist for the competition of Business Professor of the Year in 2013 by The Economist Magazine.

Professor Brunet is an Associate Member of Carmelle and Remi Marcoux Chair in Arts Management at HEC Montreal. She has given many professional seminars in International Executive Education programs to several organizations in Canada, Europe, China and North Africa.
