Local anesthesia (LA) is a condition when sensation within a specific body part in inhibited, where as general anesthesia results in loss of consciousness and sensation.

This report focuses on the market for local anaesthetic products in the GCC region. The market is strictly limited to application in human beings and comprises of products administered through injectables and topicals. Local anaesthetic products find applications in vast range of medical surgeries with some popular ones being dentistry, child birth, circumcision etc.
