Bomgar, the leader in enterprise remote support solutions, today announced its plans for this year’s Service Desk and IT Support (SITS) Show, 29 -30 April, in London. Over the last two decades, SITS has established itself as the event that brings together the ITSM industry’s leading vendors, integrators, consultancies and service providers.
Bomgar will exhibit at the show for the fourth year running and can be found at stand 515. Following a series of high-profile international data breaches, Bomgar experts will be speaking with attendees about the risks of using unsecured remote support tools, and how the service desk team can play a greater role in preventing data breaches that come through third-party access channels.
“We’re looking forward to speaking with the attendees at SITS this year,” commented Stuart Facey, VP of International at Bomgar. “Security is a priority issue for all companies and remote access continues to be a major pathway for hacking-related data breaches. We provide customers with secure remote support technology so they can focus on improving performance and efficiency. Third party access control and security will be hot topics at the event this year.”
In addition, Greg Cowart, business solutions manager at Bomgar, will be speaking at 1:10pm on Wednesday 30th April in Theatre 2 on the practical implications of implementing chat technology. Cowart works with a wide range of organisations to help them drive efficiency, productivity and security. His seminar at SITS will explain why chat initiatives fail to meet their potential and outlines eight best practices for making these projects successful. It will also include an overview of the benefits that can be delivered as part of chat programmes including planning, workforce management, end-user adoption, reporting, and integration with your web-based support process.
