Time Warner Inc. Analyst Notes    

On March 31, 2014, Time Warner Inc. (Time Warner) reported that NCAA March Madness Live, managed by Turner Sports, a division of the Company's subsidiary Turner Broadcasting System, delivered more than 64 million live video streams across all platforms through the second week of the 2014 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship. According to the Company, the 64 million live video streams reflects a 40% increase when compared to tournament to date last year, and it has also exceeded last year's total video streams of 49 million video streams for the entire tournament. Time Warner informed that the NCAA March Madness Live has netted 13.5 million hours of live video consumed, up 7% YoY and is on pace to rank as an all-time record. Viacom, Inc. Analyst Notes 

On March 28, 2014, BET Networks, a subsidiary of Viacom, Inc. (Viacom), announced the launch of BET NOW, its first ever brand app. According to the Company, the BET NOW app provides fans access to a library of full episodes of their favorite shows such as The Game, Let's Stay Together, Being Mary Jane, Real Husbands of Hollywood, and a few others. Viacom informed that users can access this content via TV Everywhere authentication - a process whereby users verify their subscription through their TV provider. Brandon Lucas, Vice President and General Manager of BET Mobile said, "With BET NOW, users are one download away from consuming some of their favorite BET shows on their tablets and phones. Apps are an increasingly important part of the mobile eco-system given the ubiquity of smart phones, the ability to have a direct connection to our consumers, and the growing rate of video consumption on these devices." On March 28, 2014, The Madison Square Garden Co. (MSG) reported that the WNBA Draft 2014 presented by State Farm, will be held on Monday, April 14, 2014 at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut. According to the Company, the event will be provided coverage and analysis by ESPN2 for the first round at 8:00 p.m. ET, while ESPNU will air the second and third rounds from 9:00 p.m. ET.
