NEW YORK, April 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Rudy Giuliani, 107th Mayor of New York City (1993-2001), will keynote the 3rd Annual Marcum MicroCap Conference at the Grand Hyatt Hotel on May 29.  The conference is produced by Marcum LLP, one of the nation's largest independent public accounting and advisory services firms.

Mr. Giuliani will address How Geopolitical Events Will Affect Your Company's Future – And What Every Company Must Know.

Launched in 2012, the annual Marcum MicroCap Conference introduces investors to superior quality, undiscovered public companies under $500 million in market capitalization. The one-day, invitation-only event is presented by Marcum's SEC Services Practice Group.

The conference is a showcase for best-of-the-best, up-and-coming microcap companies in seven industry sectors, including Technology & Telecom; Social Media & internet; Life Sciences; Retail & Consumer Products; Energy & Natural Resources; Industrials; and Special Situations. Last year's conference featured presentations from 120 microcap companies and was attended by more than 1600 institutional investors, buy- and sell-side analysts, investment bankers and service providers to the microcap market.  Over 2000 participants are expected this year.

"Rudy Giuliani has dedicated the past dozen years to advising companies on solving critical strategic issues and accelerating growth, precisely the challenges facing the microcap sector," said David C. Bukzin, Partner-in-Charge of Marcum's SEC Practice Group.  "His keynote address is sure to be a highlight of a very productive and profitable day for participants at the 2014 Marcum MicroCap Conference."
