On March 25, 2014, Highpower International, Inc. (Highpower) reported Q4 2013 and full-year 2013 financial results. In Q4 2013, the Company's net sales totaled $38.4 million, up 24.7% YoY. The Company stated that the sales increase was due to a $9.5 million increase in net sales of its lithium batteries. Full-year 2013 net sales were $132.8 million, up 17.9% YoY. Q4 2013 net income attributable to Highpower was $1.2 million, or $0.09 per diluted share, compared to $0.6 million, or $0.04 per diluted share, in Q4 2012. Full-year 2013 net income attributable to the Company was $1.5 million, or $0.11 per diluted share, compared to $1.7 million, or $0.13 per diluted share, in full year 2012.
