Interra Systems today announced that OnLive, the leader of on-demand game streaming and cloud computing services, has selected Interra’s Vega H264 analyzer for compliance and debug of H.264 content for mobile video delivery.
“Delivery of high-quality, efficiently encoded video is critical to OnLive’s cloud-based services. To achieve this, we need expert analysis tools to ensure that our H.264 encoded content is error-free. We chose Interra’s Vega H264 platform for its in-depth analysis capabilities, thoroughness and features. The Vega analyzer will enable us to make our R&D and test processes more efficient,” said Yueshi Shen, Principal R&D Engineer, Video, at OnLive.
“Our customers need an accurate and reliable analysis platform to help them evaluate and test elementary video streams for compliance, efficiency, and interoperability,” said Anupama Anantharaman, Director of Sales and Product Marketing at Interra Systems. “The Vega H264 analyzer will enable OnLive to deliver high-quality, standards-compliant video to its customers at the best possible bit rate on many different devices, offering gamers a great experience.”
Interra’s Vega H264 is an industry leading audio/video analyzer for standards compliance and interoperability. Vega H264 enables navigation down to the deepest levels of an encoded stream. This significantly reduces R&D and QA time in delivering standards-compliant video. Vega’s advantages include a wide range of audio and video format support including HEVC, VP8, VP9, AVS, MVC, SVC, WebM, and MPEG-2 Transport stream analysis, as well as high efficiency tools, such as Video Comparator and Batch Mode Analyzer.
