Interra Systems today announced that VTV Vietnam, the national television broadcaster of Vietnam, has selected Baton™ as its file-based QC solution. VTV will be using Baton to assure content quality in its VTV Archive Center and VTV Cable divisions. Interra Systems reseller Tekcast facilitated the sale.
Hanoi-based Vietnam Television (VTV) is the National Broadcaster of Vietnam and has been in operation since 1970. VTV is the largest television network in the country, broadcasting nine FTA channels and available internationally via satellite. VTV also operates the largest cable network (VCTV) and a DTH satellite service.
Baton is an automated content verification (or quality control) system. For the new VTV installations, Baton has been integrated with several other systems such as media asset management system, encoders and video server systems and deep storage library as part of the entire workflow.
