LAS VEGAS, NV -- (Marketwired) -- 04/07/14 -- Today, SintecMedia and Visible World announced a partnership to enhance SintecMedia's automated broadcast management solution, OnAir, with Visible World's Smart TV data-driven analytics application, Smart TV DNA, to offer broadcasters a way to optimize their program promotion schedules based on how likely a placement is to convert. Currently, broadcasters typically seek the best opportunities for reach for a target audience. Now, with enhanced optimization, they will be able to include the likelihood of conversion for any given placement. The resulting schedule optimization will take into account goals, constraints, target audiences, and, for the first time, conversion metrics.
The partnership announcement was covered in a piece by Broadcasting & Cable's George Winslow on April 7, 2014 in timing with the NAB Show in Las Vegas.
Visible World's Smart TV DNA application uses anonymized TV viewing data from more than a million U.S. TV households (and growing) to deliver key insights on TV program promotion effectiveness. Smart TV Analytics details conversion metrics relative to the exposure placement, recency, frequency, reach, and related creative, and does so across on-air, cross-channel, and paid national or local-tune campaign. Use of the application delivers relevant, granular analysis at a small fraction of the cost and time associated with any comparable research today. Since its official launch in September 2014, ten networks from five different network groups have already begun to use the application to improve the effectiveness of their program promotion campaigns.
SintecMedia's OnAir integrates all of broadcast's major operations -- sales, traffic, programming, promo management, and billing -- into a single solution. The system offers a powerful tool to improve efficiency and productivity by making it easier for broadcasters to manage their inventory effectively and adapt quickly to changing conditions. By integrating insights from Visible World's Smart TV DNA application, OnAir enables TV networks to readily incorporate this data into their planning and scheduling.
"Visible World's Smart TV analytics offer a new way to get timely, detailed metrics on conversion that have never been available before," said Visible World's CEO, Seth Haberman. "By integrating insights from our Smart TV DNA offering with SintecMedia, we are making it possible for broadcasters to not only discover relevant insights, but to make them far more actionable."
"SintecMedia has always been devoted to helping broadcasters improve their processes and increase their revenue streams," said Chanan Weiss, President of SintecMedia. "We're excited to be the first to include TV program promotion conversion parameters in our schedule optimization application, which will allow our clients' promotions to be more effective than ever before."
Today, SintecMedia offers a powerful tool to help TV networks manage their scheduling based on opportunity to find audiences. With this partnership, the OnAir program promotion scheduling application becomes even more powerful by marrying opportunity with conversion.

Without a clear strategy for cost control and an architecture designed with cloud services in mind, costs and operational performance can quickly get out of control. To avoid multiple architectural redesigns requires extensive thought and planning. DevOps is being widely accepted (if not fully adopted) as essential in enterprise IT. But as Enterprise DevOps gains maturity, expands scope, and increases velocity, the need for data-driven decisions across teams becomes more acute. DevOps teams in any modern business must wrangle the ‘digital exhaust’ from the delivery toolchain, "pervasive" and "cognitive" computing, APIs and services, mobile devices and applications, the Internet of Things, and now even blockchain. In this power panel at @...

Major trends and emerging technologies – from virtual reality and IoT, to Big Data and algorithms – are helping organizations innovate in the digital era. However, to create real business value, IT must think beyond the ‘what’ of digital transformation to the ‘how’ to harness emerging trends, innovation and disruption. Architecture is the key that underpins and ties all these efforts together. In the digital age, it’s important to invest in architecture, extend the enterprise footprint to the cl...
