Mocapay, a merchant-centric mobile marketing and payments solution provider, announced today the release of the Yumilicious app, will be available in iTunes and Google Play app stores this April. Yumilicious leveraged Mocapay’s mobile app template that helps merchants engage consumers and launch their app on an abbreviated timeframe.
“The newly released Yumilicious app is the natural evolution to keep mobile accessible and easy for our merchants customers,” said Doug Dwyre, CEO, Mocapay. “We want to give Yumilicious customers a variety of ways to engage with the brand, give back to their community and earn valuable coupons and offers.”
Yumilicious loyalty members can enroll, earn and redeem loyalty points and rewards via the app. Users can also enter their birthday for special offers, opt in and out of e-mails and text messaging, and get in-app messages. Additionally, the app will provide the ability to find nearby locations using GPS technology.
“We love every opportunity to engage our amazing Yumilicious customers,” said Winston Phan, co-founder, Yumilicious. "In particular, the new features will allow us to thank our loyal customers with added rewards."
Soon, Yumilicious app users will also have the ability to download and manage mobile gift cards and payment cards. Customers can search for Yumilicious in ITunes and Google Play and enjoy Yumilicious Yogurt while earning free frozen yogurt at all Yumilicious locations.
Mocapay’s innovative mobile platform creates deep, interactive, loyal brand connections. Through partnerships with merchants’ payment processors, Mocapay mobile enables existing prepaid cards as well as consumer credit and debit cards. Additionally, merchants may also take advantage of Mocapay's own mobile marketing and loyalty products putting the power of customer engagement in the hands of merchants. With its secure, patented technology Mocapay’s flexible, one-stop solution works with any handset or network and integrates simply with any POS, processor, wallet or existing program. Ask someone to architect an Internet of Things (IoT) solution and you are guaranteed to see a reference to the cloud. This would lead you to believe that IoT requires the cloud to exist. However, there are many IoT use cases where the cloud is not feasible or desirable. In his session at @ThingsExpo, Dave McCarthy, Director of Products at Bsquare Corporation, will discuss the strategies that exist to extend intelligence directly to IoT devices and sensors, freeing them from the constraints of ...

Cloud computing is being adopted in one form or another by 94% of enterprises today. Tens of billions of new devices are being connected to The Internet of Things. And Big Data is driving this bus. An exponential increase is expected in the amount of information being processed, managed, analyzed, and acted upon by enterprise IT. This amazing is not part of some distant future - it is happening today. One report shows a 650% increase in enterprise data by 2020. Other estimates are even higher....

Creating replica copies to tolerate a certain number of failures is easy, but very expensive at cloud-scale. Conventional RAID has lower overhead, but it is limited in the number of failures it can tolerate. And the management is like herding cats (overseeing capacity, rebuilds, migrations, and degraded performance).
