SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- (Marketwired) -- 04/08/14 -- AirWare Labs Corp. (OTCQB: AIRW) today announced that production is underway on a branded video featuring TV and movie personalities Vincent Kartheiser and Adam Herschman. Kartheiser currently plays "Pete Campbell" on AMC's drama Mad Men, and Herschman is best known for his roles in hit comedies Accepted and Soul Men.
Scheduled to air later this spring, the online video will focus on AirWare's AIR® Allergy nasal insert. Designed with an integrated filter media from 3M, AIR® Allergy protects wearers from up to 99% of plant spores, airborne pollens and viruses.
"Vincent and Adam both bring such magnetic star power and energy to our project," said Jeffrey Rassás, CEO of AirWare Labs. "I had the pleasure of being on set during the filming, so I can say with great confidence that we are thrilled and fortunate to have these brilliant actors participate and help spread awareness of AirWare and AIR® Allergy/Defense Filtered product line, right at a time when allergies are top of mind."
"Vincent and Adam are great actors and enormously funny individuals," said Chase Herschman, Director of Marketing for AirWare Labs. "By infusing comedy into our brand message, we aim to create a video that is both enjoyable and educational for the viewer. We know there are millions of allergy sufferers out there, looking for an effective solution, and this video series will be a great tool for reaching them."
AirWare will be partnering with a well-known social video and seeding company to help distribute the video using their network of publishers and social platforms. "We intend to maximize our audience for this video series by combining our own social media, marketing and PR efforts with the muscle of an outside media distribution company that specializes in generating momentum and buzz for fun branded content like ours," said Chase Herschman. "We all know that storytelling through the medium of video is powerful, but because of social media and other online platforms, the cost for distribution is so low while the impact has the potential to be so high."
Online video is currently experiencing massive growth, thanks to advances in technology that allow users to make, share and view videos quickly and easily. Cisco expects online video traffic to account for 55 percent of consumer Internet traffic by 2016, with a predicted 1.5 billion video users. E-commerce video provider Invodo reported that 52 percent of consumers feel more confident in their online purchase decisions after watching product videos.

Providing the needed data for application development and testing is a huge headache for most organizations. The problems are often the same across companies - speed, quality, cost, and control. Provisioning data can take days or weeks, every time a refresh is required. Using dummy data leads to quality problems. Creating physical copies of large data sets and sending them to distributed teams of developers eats up expensive storage and bandwidth resources. And, all of these copies proliferating...

Malicious agents are moving faster than the speed of business. Even more worrisome, most companies are relying on legacy approaches to security that are no longer capable of meeting current threats. In the modern cloud, threat diversity is rapidly expanding, necessitating more sophisticated security protocols than those used in the past or in desktop environments. Yet companies are falling for cloud security myths that were truths at one time but have evolved out of existence.

Digital Transformation is the ultimate goal of cloud computing and related initiatives. The phrase is certainly not a precise one, and as subject to hand-waving and distortion as any high-falutin' terminology in the world of information technology.
