XTT LLC announced its Exatouch® Retail POS software is now certified to the EVO Snap*™ payment services platform. Exatouch products are full-featured point-of-sale (POS) systems employing in-store *and* Cloud retail technology. Available through merchant services ISO partners, Exatouch integrates payment processing directly through EVO® Payments International’s Snap* and other platforms with no payment gateway required. Unlike Cloud-based iPad® and “app” POS products that are not PCI PA-DSS Validated, and therefore not PCI compliant, Exatouch is on the PA-DSS list.
“The team at EVO and EVO Snap* were great. Certifications are tough and we nailed it with their help,” said Terry Glatt. “Of course, it doesn’t hurt that we are payments-certification veterans.” Glatt is Founder and CEO of XTT.
EVO certification is just another feather in the cap for Exatouch. However, XTT is known for its leadership in the ISO POS space where making merchants happy and effective, AND making ISO reps happy and effective, is XTT’s true difference. “No other POS company knows ISO POS like XTT, that’s why, for example, with iPad solutions, they just don’t cut it, they come back,” added Glatt, an ETA CPP™. In fact Glatt co-authored “the book” with Jon Lee; From ISO to POS available on Amazon. The book is about transitioning a merchant processing independent sales organization to POS … the future of payments.
ISOs keep all the processing revenue with Exatouch (no gateway fees, no rev share), which is attractive for merchant services providers who deeply value their merchant relationships and the lower attrition.
Exatouch keeps the business data securely in-store with USB backup, Cloud backup, remote support, Cloud-Oversite™, remote reports, with *true* PCI validation. Features like scale integration, table maps, matrix inventory, purchasing, and open orders all contribute to Exatouch’s uniquely wide coverage of SMB merchants.

In his general session at 18th Cloud Expo, Lee Atchison, Principal Cloud Architect and Advocate at New Relic, discussed cloud as a ‘better data center’ and how it adds new capacity (faster) and improves application availability (redundancy).
