Appnomic Named SIIA Software CODiE Award Finalist for Best Systems Management Solution

AppsOne Earns Prestigious Software Industry Recognition

SANTA CLARA, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 04/09/14 -- Appnomic Systems, a leading provider of innovative analytics software for IT application operations, today announced that AppsOne was named a finalist for the 2014 SIIA Software CODiE Awards for Best Systems Management Solution. The SIIA CODiE Awards are the premier award for the software and information industries, and have been recognizing product excellence for 29 years. The awards have multiple categories and are organized by industry focus of Content, Education, and Software.

This year's program features 28 Software categories, several of which are new or updated to reflect the latest industry trends. Winners will be announced during a special Awards dinner on May 21in San Francisco during the industry's premier ISV gathering of SaaS, BI, and Cloud providers, Maximize.

AppsOne consists of Application Behavior Learning (ABL), a unique approach to what Gartner calls IT Operations Analytics (ITOA). ABL enables automatic threshold discovery (ATD) for application performance monitoring of underlying data center components. ATD eliminates the need for manual setting and management of monitoring thresholds. Instead, ATD sets dynamic thresholds which result in the Early Warning Alerts™ that help prevent IT accidents before they occur. These alerts are enriched with "forensic" data to provide deep insight into root causes and can be linked to automated remediation of application stack problems.

"The 2014 CODiE finalist announcement is encouraging feedback for Appnomic, as this is the third year running we have been recognized for providing innovative analytics software and services that simplify the complexities of managing IT, substantially improving IT application operations performance," said Ray Solnik, president of US Operations.

"This year's CODiE Awards finalists showcase the innovation and creativity in today's market. We are happy to recognize them for their products that are breaking ground in the software industry," said Rhianna Collier, VP for the Software Division at SIIA. "I look forward to honoring all the finalists in May at our awards program at Maximize."

Companies are harnessing data in ways we once associated with science fiction. Analysts have access to a plethora of visualization and reporting tools, but considering the vast amount of data businesses collect and limitations of CPUs, end users are forced to design their structures and systems with limitations. Until now. As the cloud toolkit to analyze data has evolved, GPUs have stepped in to massively parallel SQL, visualization and machine learning.
