FlexPoint allows Pivotal Payments to better adapt to emerging payment trends and will provide merchants with a faster and cost-effective solution to integrate their payment systems.
Ingenico's Telium line was chosen based on its reliability, security and performance. The point of sale terminals are compatible with chip and PIN EMV cards, are NFC-enabled to accept contactless payments, and powered by FlexPoint, are designed to seamlessly receive software updates to minimize business downtime.
For merchants and integrators, FlexPoint can help reduce point of sale integrations from several months to days. The software also allows Pivotal Payments' clients to quickly react to new payment standards and provides added flexibility through third party integration. It is hailed as a future-proof, developer-friendly platform that features a simple, open API for integrating into third party applications. A firewall between FlexPoint and the core payment application ensures a highly secure implementation.
