Samsung Galaxy S® 5 Will Arrive on C Spire Network in May

C Spire announced plans today to introduce the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S® 5 4G LTE smartphone next month. The new smartphone delivers advanced, meaningful innovation to help consumers make the most of their mobile lifestyle. The Galaxy S 5 is packed with innovative new features, including a built-in heart rate monitor, advanced camera features, faster connection speeds and a brilliant display.

The new camera features and simplified controls, paired with the 16 megapixel rear-facing and 2-megapixel front-facing camera elevate the photo-taking experience. The Galaxy S 5 is the first smartphone with phase detection auto focus, a feature usually found in DSLR cameras. Real-Time High Dynamic Range (HDR) enables users to capture HDR photos or videos with no shutter lag or post-processing. Images can be edited in the onboard camera studio, which can add effects to photos and edit movies with a complete suite of editing tools in the gallery.

The Galaxy S 5 delivers an enhanced viewing experience with an adaptive 5.1-inch Full HD Super AMOLED® display with rich colors, darker blacks and faster response times for clearer high speed content. Wide viewing angles and crisp HD video on the bright bold display that adapts to bright outdoor sunlight or indoor ambient lighting means the best seat in the house anytime, anywhere.

The sleek and slim smartphone weighs 5.1 ounces and is 8.1 millimeters thin. Available in Charcoal Black and Shimmery White, the phone is powered by a removable 2,800 mAh battery and has standard 16GB of onboard storage.
