Facebook, Inc. Analyst Notes
On April 1, 2014, Facebook, Inc. (Facebook) announced that the Company's Q1 2014 financial results will be released after market close on Wednesday, April 23, 2014. Facebook will also host a conference call to discuss its financial results at 2:00 p.m. PT/5:00 p.m. ET the same day, following the earnings release. According to Zacks Investment Research Data, the consensus EPS estimate for Q1 2014 is $0.17. For Q4 2013, the Company reported EPS of $0.31 on $2.59 billion in revenue, beating Wall Street expectations of $0.27 EPS on $2.32 billion in revenue. Verizon Communications Inc. Analyst Notes
On April 8, 2014, Verizon Communications Inc. (Verizon) announced the launch of FiOS Quantum TV, which the Company claims redefines TV viewing experience. According to the Company, FiOS Quantum TV provides more choices and control, including the ability to record up to 12 shows at once; pause and rewind live TV on any TV in the home; and store up to 200 hours of HD programs, in order to enhance the customers TV viewing experience. Commenting on the product launch, Tim Smith, Verizon Region President for Consumer And Mass Business Operations for Pennsylvania/Delaware, said, "Just as Verizon raised the bar for Internet speeds with its FiOS Quantum Internet service, Verizon once again is raising the bar for TV service, with FiOS Quantum TV." Microsoft Corporation Analyst Notes
On April 8, 2014, Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft) announced that the Company will report its Q3 FY 2014 financial results after the close of the market on April, 24, 2014 on the Microsoft Investor Relations website. The Company will also host a live webcast of the earnings conference call at 2:30 p.m. PT. According to Zacks investment research data, the consensus EPS forecast for the quarter is $0.62. Buoyed by strong sales in the holiday season, Microsoft reported Q2 FY 2014 earnings ahead of street expectations. The Company reported Q2 FY 2014 net income of $6.56 billion and EPS of 78 cents a share. The profit was largely attributed to strong sales of Microsoft's commercial products, including the Surface 2 tablet and Xbox One. AT&T, Inc. Analyst Notes
On April 8, 2014, AT&T, Inc.'s (AT&T), home security and home automation service provider - AT&T Digital Life and 'Habitat for Humanity' announced that they will commence their national collaboration to rebuild and revitalize communities in Atlanta starting, April 10, 2014. Employee volunteers from AT&T will join Atlanta Habitat for Humanity to help build a house alongside a Habitat homeowner family. Further, Digital Life will work with Habitat for Humanity to strengthen their goals and mission to help bring people together to build homes, communities and hope. Digital Life will donate $10,000 for the construction of a new home in each of the five locations (Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, Seattle, and Atlanta) and will recruit more than 100 AT&T volunteers to participate in the builds. According to AT&T, the Company's volunteers will help the Rembert family construct their home from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on April 10, 2014.
