WELLESLEY, Mass., April 11, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Three startups — Vedavoo, Lilypad Scales, and HigherMe — are the 2014 winners of the Babson College B.E.T.A. (Babson Entrepreneurial Thought and Action(r)) Challenge.
The entrepreneur winners in three categories — alumni, undergraduate student, and graduate student — competed to win a grand prize of $20,000 each in cash and "services in kind" donations from corporate sponsors.
B.E.T.A. Challenge entrepreneurs must demonstrate success in reaching major milestones achieved through action.
