NEW YORK, April 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- SuperSolver, Inc. announced that investor and fund manager Richard Rofe, Managing Director at Arcadia Capital and former CEO of DataBites, Inc., was appointed to the company's board of directors, increasing the board's size to four members.

Rofe, who is a well-known fund manager and early-stage investor, is also a successful technology executive. Prior to his shift to full-time investing, Rofe built and sold several companies over a 30-year career. He has been a founder, investor and advisor to many early-stage technology companies. In the mid '90's, Richard was an early-stage shareholder and key advisor to CampusFood.com (acquired by GrubHub in 2012). In 1999, Rofe served as chairman and CEO of DataBites, Inc., leading the company to receive Internet World's Best of Show award for 2000. In 2001, DataBites was sold to Divine, Inc., where Rofe spent three years on the M&A team before entering the world of activist investing. In 2009, Rofe was named one of the top 20 activist hedge fund managers in the U.S. Alongside his tech related ventures, Rofe founded Wow Wings® and has investments in SeaMax America, LLC and eBoost, where he sits on the board of directors.
