MIAMI, April 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Brightstar Corp. announced today that, effective immediately, Vincent Donargo has joined the company as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
Donargo will be responsible for managing Brightstar's global financial functions, and he will report to Brightstar Founder and CEO Marcelo Claure. Donargo was previously the Executive Vice President of Integration, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and Finance Transformation at Ingram Micro, Inc. Prior to Ingram Micro's acquisition of Brightpoint, Inc., Donargo served as Brightpoint Executive Vice President, CFO and Treasurer. In 2012, Donargo was named to ExecRank's "Top CFOs."

Donargo joins Brightstar during a period of strong growth. Brightstar recently acquired the Commerce and Service (C&S) division of Tokyo-based SoftBank BB Corp. (SBB), and 20:20 Mobile Group, now Brightstar 20:20 Mobile, a leading provider of distribution and integrated supply chain solutions to the European mobile industry.
