CALGARY, Alberta, April 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
Hitachi ID is pleased to announce that one of the world's largest marketing and media companies - a European-based, multi-billion dollar enterprise, purchased the Hitachi ID Identity Management Suite for implementation throughout their business worldwide.
"Due to contract confidentiality stipulations, we are unable to release the name of the company," says Gideon Shoham, CEO of Hitachi ID Systems. "Closing business with such a major global enterprise is a perfect example of our recent sales trend. A billion-dollar, distributed company with hundreds of offices around the world must have highly scalable, stable, cost-effective and extremely reliable IT security systems. We are delighted that our Identity and Access Management solutions have exceeded all expectations of this customer in a proof of concept (POC) against all leading vendors."
The company has a global SharePoint project which requires the storage of all user identities in the Active Directory (AD). The Hitachi ID suite was able to recreate an LDAP structure within the AD for close to 100,000 users. Hitachi ID's scalability and unsurpassed number of connectors, all included in the base price, were decisive factors leading to this deal.
"Hitachi ID's Identity Management Suite provided all functionality we needed and far exceeded all other solutions," states a senior executive of the global media company. "We had a challenging time finding a solution that could support our Lotus Notes® installation as well as meet all our other challenging requirements. Once we tested Hitachi ID's solutions, the decision to purchase was quite obvious."

To leverage Continuous Delivery, enterprises must consider impacts that span functional silos, as well as applications that touch older, slower moving components. Managing the many dependencies can cause slowdowns. See how to achieve continuous delivery in the enterprise.
