DALLAS, April 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Ashford Hospitality Prime, Inc. (NYSE: AHP) ("Ashford Prime" or the "Company") announced today that it has launched the Ashford App, a new mobile app created for the hospitality REIT investor community. The app is currently available on the iOS platform for the iPhone and iPad, with a version for Android smartphones to follow in the near future. The Ashford App offers users the ability to quickly and concisely get up to speed with what is happening in the hospitality REIT industry from a macro level as well as review detailed information on specific companies in the sector.
The new app is available for free download at Apple's App Store by searching "Ashford."
In today's fast-paced environment more investors are making investment decisions while on the go, accessing social media and mobile apps for relevant information on every device they have. The Ashford App fills a gap in this speed-driven world, to inform and educate hospitality REIT investors who can now access general lodging industry statistics as well as specific information about Ashford Prime and its affiliated companies.
