Platinum Luxury Auctions Announces Pending Sale of Vero Beach Estate

Sale would mark firm's second success within the prestigious John's Island community

VERO BEACH, Fla., April 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- A luxury, golf course estate within the John's Island community of Vero Beach, Florida is pending sale, announced Platinum Luxury Auctions. The Miami-based firm, specializing in the luxury auction sale of unique, multi-million-dollar properties, worked in cooperation with listing agent David Ashcroft of Treasure Coast Sotheby's International Realty for the sale. The buyer of the 7,450-square-foot residence is a young family from Virginia.

"We're very excited for all parties involved," noted Trayor Lesnock, Platinum's president and founder. "The sale will end a long journey for both buyer and seller: the former in searching for their John's Island home, and the latter in ending a more than 4-year sales process." Mr. Ashcroft, who also represented the buyers in the sale, concurred. "We knew the timing was right to utilize an outside-the-box strategy in order to find the right buyer for the property, and Platinum's luxury auction process did just that."

Situated on an oversized corner lot that boasts lake frontage, plantation-style landscaping, and views of the community's lovely South golf course, the estate offers 5 bedrooms, 6 full and 2 half-baths, a 4-car garage and 2 driveway entries. Its outdoor living spaces include a private, inner courtyard and a large, rear pool deck with a spa tub, fireplace and loggia.

Prior to placing this property under contract, Platinum successfully sold another waterfront estate within the Gem Island section of John's Island for more than $5.2 million in 2013. The sale was one of only three residential transactions above the $5 million mark within the entire Vero Beach marketplace that year. As per local reporting, Platinum is the only firm to ever conduct a successful luxury real estate auction behind the John's Island gates. The pending sale is expected to close in May.

On the heels of this recent transaction, Platinum has already scheduled its second Vero Beach luxury auction in 2014, offering two oceanfront land parcels located within The Moorings community. The sale is scheduled for May 1, 2014, and an international promotion is well underway.  For additional details on this upcoming auction, contact Platinum Luxury Auctions directly at 800.262.5132 or visit OceanfrontLuxuryAuction.com.
