World Mobile Holdings, Inc. Announces Current Status

NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 04/17/14 -- World Mobile Holdings, Inc. (OTC Pink: WMHI) (PINKSHEETS: WMHI), a global leader in developing Image Transmission Devices (ITD), Lithium-Iron (LiFePO4) Battery Modules, and Solutions Integration for major wireless carriers around the world, is pleased to announce the following news:

The company's engineering team, advised by Dr. Thomas Lu, the senior research fellow at Jet Propulsion Lab of CIT, is exploring the application of its proprietary Lithium-Iron (LiFePO4) battery technologies for the eCig and Hydroponic industries. It's widely believed Lithium-Iron (LiFePO4) battery technologies could be one of ideal energy sources for these expanding industries. eCigarettes have become popular and have dramatically decreased the usage of standard cigarette, and subsequently reducing lung cancer. There is no tar or ash from eCig usage. Lithium-ion battery technology is also used in the process.

As in January 2014, World Mobile Holdings has successfully received the 1st payment for its contract which has been completed in Shanghai, China with the national wireless operator China Mobile.

Aside its stigma among some portion, which is ever decreasing day after day, of the general population, the medical usage of Marijuana holds a hope (the only one for many terminal-ill patients) for those carrying cancer and other diseases that couldn't be cured by conventional medical technologies for the time being and in the near future. Out of love and compassion to fellow human beings, a consensus has begun in forming among elected officials, religious leaders, policy makers, healthcare practitioners, families and constituents to offer medical hemp to those in need. A movement has been started. In a short few years, medical marijuana usage will be allowed as well as promoted in the most states in the Union according to some experts who follow the trend closely. World Mobile Holdings believes its Lithium-iron battery technologies offer the best effective and efficient power source for green houses for growing marijuana and related processes in medical marijuana.

In the mean time, World Mobile Holdings is processing its plan to merge a system integrating company in China with matured technologies for mobile payment smart chips & secure micro SD cards of which have great marketing potential as they have been technically approved by all major banks in China.

For basic one-to-one voice or video calling solutions, WebRTC has proven to be a very powerful technology. Although WebRTC’s core functionality is to provide secure, real-time p2p media streaming, leveraging native platform features and server-side components brings up new communication capabilities for web and native mobile applications, allowing for advanced multi-user use cases such as video broadcasting, conferencing, and media recording.
WebRTC is about the data channel as much as about video and audio conferencing. However, basically all commercial WebRTC applications have been built with a focus on audio and video. The handling of “data” has been limited to text chat and file download – all other data sharing seems to end with screensharing. What is holding back a more intensive use of peer-to-peer data? When you focus on a journey from up-close, you look at your own technical and cultural history and how you changed it for the benefit of the customer. This was our starting point: too many integration issues, 13 SWP days and very long cycles. It was evident that in this fast-paced industry we could no longer afford this reality. We needed something that would take us beyond reducing the development lifecycles, CI and Agile methodologies. We made a fundamental difference, even changed our culture...
More and more brands have jumped on the IoT bandwagon. We have an excess of wearables – activity trackers, smartwatches, smart glasses and sneakers, and more that track seemingly endless datapoints. However, most consumers have no idea what “IoT” means. Creating more wearables that track data shouldn't be the aim of brands; delivering meaningful, tangible relevance to their users should be. We're in a period in which the IoT pendulum is still swinging. Initially, it swung toward "smart for smart...
