Unisys Stealth Named Finalist for American Technology Award in Cybersecurity Category

TechAmerica Foundation "Best Of" Award Recognizes Unisys Security Software Suite

BLUE BELL, Pa., April 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS) has been named a finalist for an American Technology Award (ATA) in cybersecurity for the Unisys Stealth™ Solution. The ATAs recognize the most outstanding products in the U.S. technology sector.

"We are thrilled that the TechAmerica Foundation has chosen our Stealth product as a finalist for the American Technology Awards," said Rod Sapp, vice president, security and cloud products, Unisys. "This is exciting recognition of the value that our groundbreaking, mission-critical security technology is bringing to organizations to help them meet the challenges of dealing with sophisticated cyber threats."

Unisys Stealth uses advanced data cloaking and encryption technologies to help organizations mitigate cybersecurity attacks and hacker incidents by rendering devices, data, and end users invisible on the network. The solution creates secure "communities of interest" within an enterprise where only authorized users can access information. Users outside those communities cannot access the information, or even know that it exists.

"Each year the quality of the nominations we get for the American Technology Awards improves. The amazing innovations and advancement in technology that each of the finalists represent is a true testament to the quality of our industry in this country," said Shawn Osborne, chairman of the TechAmerica Foundation. "We congratulate Unisys on being a finalist for this prestigious award."

The TechAmerica Foundation will be presenting the products and announcing the winners at a showcase and awards ceremony in Washington, D.C. The event, being held May 20, brings together tech innovators, policy makers and investors.

During the event, the Breakthrough Technology of the Year will be chosen, which will then be honored at the prestigious Technology and Government dinner in June. Each finalist is considered for the Breakthrough Technology of the Year.
