Clearpoint Agency, an award-winning public relations and marketing communications firm based in the San Diego area, has selected The Seany Foundation as its 2014 nonprofit recipient of pro bono PR and marcom services for 12 months. Clearpoint selected The Seany Foundation after reviewing applications from numerous nonprofits through an open call for nominations, and then conducting a vote amongst its clients and partners. The Seany Foundation will receive PR services including, but not limited to, message development, website content, social media, press release development, blog writing and media relations.
The Seany Foundation is a San Diego-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in the memory of cancer patient Sean Lewis Robins who was a victim of Ewing sarcoma, a rare cancer that affects bone and soft tissue. The Seany Foundation was established after Sean passed in 2006 and, to date, has raised over $1 million for the fight against childhood cancer.
The Seany Foundation supports programs that improve the quality of life for children coping with cancer. Its largest project is Camp Reach for the Sky (CR4TS), a summer camp for kids affected by cancer.
Mitch Robins, founder of The Seany Foundation, says, “Sean was a tenacious cancer fighter with a huge heart. He wanted to help every child with cancer that he came into contact with. Clearpoint Agency’s PR team gives us an incredible opportunity to carry on Sean’s legacy and gain further recognition and support for The Seany Foundation.”
Clearpoint Agency President Bonnie Shaw says, “Clearpoint Agency prides itself on being of service to the community. We look forward to working with The Seany Foundation to bring awareness to the fight against childhood cancer and to support young cancer patients and their families.”
Clearpoint holds close its commitment to the community and has donated time, services and funds to organizations such as Creative Bridge Coalition, San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy, San Diego Food Bank and American Heart Association.
Clearpoint clients include business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) organizations throughout the nation who want to stand apart from their competition and clearly communicate their vision to the world.
