HEART AND SOLE: Boston-born Dr. Robert Joseph, DPM Supports Boston Marathon from Coast-to-Coast

LOS ANGELES, April 18, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Dr. Robert Joseph, DPM, is Los Angeles' leading foot and ankle surgeon, with a thriving Beverly Hills practice which includes major league athletes and A-List celebrities. His minimally invasive surgical technique has made Dr. Joseph, recently named Director of Podiatry at Mission Community Hospital in Panorama City, CA, Hollywood's go-to for corrective foot procedures.

A recent turn of events—the sudden loss of his father in Worcester, MA this past week—demonstrates Boston-born Dr. Joseph's passionate dedication to his patients as well as to his hometown. After making an emergency trip to his native Worcester to console his family and attend his father's service on Tuesday, Dr. Joseph then flew directly from the family funeral in Boston back to Los Angeles to see 70 plus patients he had rescheduled in light of the circumstances.  Then he will return to Boston from Los Angeles, as he is sponsoring a booth in the Boston Marathon Sports & Fitness Expo April 18-20.  "I can't let my family down, but I can't let my patients down either," says this man who seems to never run out of steam.

Dr. Joseph is the co-creator of DoctorInsole™, the first corrective over-the-counter orthotic. Dr. Joseph and his team, in support of the Boston Marathon, will be offering this patent-pending innovation in foot wellness at Booth #1328 as part of the celebration honoring this year's race in Boston at the John Hancock Sports & Fitness Expo, to be held at the Hynes Convention Center in the heart of Boston, Back Bay. And as if that weren't enough, as a way of giving back to his hometown, DoctorInsole™ will be offered at a special discount of 20%, with a portion of all proceeds from sales going to THE BOSTON ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION (www.baa.org), a non-profit organization which promotes a healthy lifestyle through the support of comprehensive charity, youth, and year-round running programs.

Dr. Joseph comments: "Boston is my hometown, and we are so honored to be part of this celebration. There is nothing that will stand in the way of Bostonians representing our great city with pride and optimism. We're very glad to be a part of it."  To learn more about Dr. Joseph visit his website at www.drrobertjoseph.com and/or visit him at Booth #1328 at the Expo.  To learn more about DoctorInsole™ visit http://www.doctorinsole.com.

Today we can collect lots and lots of performance data. We build beautiful dashboards and even have fancy query languages to access and transform the data. Still performance data is a secret language only a couple of people understand. The more business becomes digital the more stakeholders are interested in this data including how it relates to business. Some of these people have never used a monitoring tool before. They have a question on their mind like “How is my application doing” but no id...

All organizations that did not originate this moment have a pre-existing culture as well as legacy technology and processes that can be more or less amenable to DevOps implementation.
