On the Move Systems Corp. (OTCBB: OMVS) announced today that the company signed a business development agreement with Round-Up Transports, LLC, a Texas-based provider of specialty freight and shipping services.
New drilling technologies have led to an unprecedented boom in energy exploration and production in the United States, and in Texas, in particular, where the Eagle Ford shale formation has become one of the biggest natural gas plays in world history. Part of the OMVS’ plans to capitalize on that economic growth by providing top-notch services to the oil and gas industry, Round-Up now becomes the latest addition to OMVS’ growing network of travel and transportation partners as the company works to become a leading online provider of niche transportation solutions.
“Round-Up Transports is an experienced firm with the knowledge, expertise, equipment and manpower to ship difficult, niche cargo,” said OMVS CEO Robert Wilson. “Adding them to our network of service providers will allow us to offer overland freight solutions that can’t be found elsewhere, from oversized loads to oilfield services.”
OMVS is working to build a network of freight companies that can move cargo by truck, rail, sea and air. By forging strategic partnerships with cutting-edge travel and transportation providers, OMVS plans to build a network of niche services that will soon comprise its forward-looking online booking portal. The company expects to market and develop new solutions that will allow the company to compete alongside Priceline.com (NASDAQ: PCLN), TripAdvisor.com (NASDAQ: TRIP) and Expedia.com (NASDAQ: EXPE).

Fact: storage performance problems have only gotten more complicated, as applications not only have become largely virtualized, but also have moved to cloud-based infrastructures. Storage performance in virtualized environments isn’t just about IOPS anymore. Instead, you need to guarantee performance for individual VMs, helping applications maintain performance as the number of VMs continues to go up in real time.
