SnackHealthy Announces Launch of HealthyTrac Farm to Table Food Traceability Solution

NEWPORT BEACH, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 04/24/14 -- SnackHealthy, Inc. (OTCBB: SNAX), a manufacturer and distributor of organic and natural food and beverages, announced today the formal debut of HealthyTrac a proprietary ERP software and food traceability platform.

Being able to trace food to its origins is crucial during a recall or outbreak. Many consumers also want to know whether what they are about to eat is organic, whether it's vegetarian, or maybe because of their beliefs, are looking for food that's kosher or halal.

The HealthyTrac technology was designed to meet existing and pending food traceability legislation in the USA and many global regions. The legislation requires facilities to have systems in place to identify and locate any item in the food supply chain. HealthyTrac is an internal platform within the Company's Asian food exports business. It is one of the only true, full supply chain traceability solutions (from farm to table) incorporating all stakeholders in the process.

"Every participant in the fresh foods supply chain is required to have a case level traceability system in place for tracing incoming and outgoing products," said Claude Sabourin, Healthient's GM in Taiwan. "For the most part, today's tracing systems are non-automated and often do not integrate efficiently with trading partners up or down the supply chain. Our HealthyTrac solution provides an advanced cloud based operational platform and is fully scalable with transparent view of the total supply chain from farm to table," Sabourin added.

HealthyTrac will be made available for free to all of the Company's growers and supply partners. With the support of the Industrial Technology Research Institutes and the Institute for Information Industry Taiwan, the developers of the platform, the Company will also be offering distribution management systems and hardware services to its growers and suppliers.
