TEMPE, Ariz., April 24, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- bluemedia, an industry-leading provider of design, printing and fabrication for use in vehicle, large format and environmental graphic applications, continued its 16-year streak of hitting sales and revenue goals in 2013, achieving significant milestones even as much of the economy was still recovering from the financial crisis. Successes included adding new people, state-of-the-art equipment and new product, two business acquisitions, exciting clients and projects, a handful of nationally recognized awards, and the expansion of its headquarters to 120,000 square feet.

In addition to the company's revenue growth, the team's employee roster also grew with the acquisition of Skyline Signs, a Tempe-based structural sign business which specializes in national franchise execution for clients like Wells Fargo, Triyar Companies, Comerica Bank, Native New Yorker and Majerle's Sports Grille, as well as Parking Lot Media, makers of bluemedia's new and innovative WrapCovers™ line of bollard advertising products.

New top-tier clients were on-boarded by the company's talented Account Executives in 2013, and new national partnerships were formed, marking bluemedia as the Official Signage and Graphics Provider of the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA), the Arizona Diamondbacks, and the Kansas City Royals, to name a few.

Outstanding projects included several Bowl Games during the 2012-13 season, one of which was the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl, named the'best branded Bowl Game' by ESPN's sports business analyst, Darren Rovell, as well as the NFL Honors Award Show hosted in New Orleans. The company also transformed the deck of the USS Midway for EA Sports' Madden Pig Skin Pro Am, celebrating 25 years of the most famous football video game in existence.

The company also began revisions to the look, feel and user experience of their popular Web site, bluemedia.com, and is about to add a client-specific integration platform they're calling CONNECT, which will allow client's visiting the site to easily track the status of their project, upload and approve artwork, manage financing options and more.

But even with all of this, one of the company's greatest triumphs, as pointed to by Smith, is its acceptance of the Spirit of Enterprise Award for 2013 Emerging Entrepreneur. "It was the first award that was not about our print quality, or an International Best of Show for a particular project," explained Smith during his acceptance speech to the crowd of over 1,000 attendees. "It was about us, our hard work, and our purpose—to make it perfect." The company was also honored for the fifth straight year with placement on the Inc. 500 | 5000 list.

"We're excited for what 2014 will bring," said Smith. "It's April and we're just now able to take a breath and look back at what we accomplished in 2013. That means it's going to be another fantastic year."
