Future Facilities North America (Future Facilities NA), a leading provider of data center design and operational management software, announced today that they will be presenting at Data Center World on the ACE Performance Score and how this approach creates a performance dashboard to ultimately maximize efficiency and lower costs for data center operations.
Titled, “Ace Data Center Performance: The Next Generation Data Center Performance Dashboard,” Future Facilities’ presentation will be held on Tuesday, April 29th, at 3:00 p.m. in the St. Croix A room of The Mirage Resort. Power, space & cooling dashboards should give data center managers the true performance of each facility. This however, is not always the case. Future Facilities will evaluate a real-world case study to demonstrate how the ACE performance score and assessment service provided their customer with a performance dashboard to evaluate the data center at any operational stage to determine appropriate and cost-saving corrective and future action.
Sherman Ikemoto, Director, and Christian Pastrana, Regional Sales Manager, will discuss the ACE engineering service and why the “Next Generation Data Center Performance Dashboard” is changing how data center owners and operators can achieve maximum autonomy through continuous predictive modeling.
“This presentation discusses how to evaluate the imbalance between the owner-operator’s aspirational goals and what their facility can achieve on a day-to-day basis,” said Sherman Ikemoto, Director of Future Facilities.
Future Facilities recently released several key whitepapers exploring similar themes, “Five Reasons your Data Center’s Availability, Capacity and Efficiency are being Compromised” and “From Compromised to Optimized: An ACE Performance Assessment Case Study.” Find these and more news at futurefacilities.com/media/mediadated.php.

In addition to all the benefits, IoT is also bringing new kind of customer experience challenges - cars that unlock themselves, thermostats turning houses into saunas and baby video monitors broadcasting over the internet. This list can only increase because while IoT services should be intuitive and simple to use, the delivery ecosystem is a myriad of potential problems as IoT explodes complexity. So finding a performance issue is like finding the proverbial needle in the haystack.

The Internet of Things will challenge the status quo of how IT and development organizations operate. Or will it? Certainly the fog layer of IoT requires special insights about data ontology, security and transactional integrity. But the developmental challenges are the same: People, Process and Platform. In his session at @ThingsExpo, Craig Sproule, CEO of Metavine, demonstrated how to move beyond today's coding paradigm and shared the must-have mindsets for removing complexity from the develo...
