CHICAGO, IL -- (Marketwired) -- 04/28/14 -- Threadless, the global design community, today launched Type Tees, an exciting new mobile application that allows users to create custom text-based t-shirts instantly from their mobile devices. Users of Type Tees can upload personal slogans to the app, stylize the text with over 20 prefabricated typefaces, then easily order and share their creations socially. Released a month after the successful launch of the Threadless iOS app by the same name, Type Tees provides a way for individuals to create their own personal t-shirt, regardless of graphic design skills or art experience.
"The concept for the Type Tees app was inspired by the sheer volume of slogans submitted to Threadless," said Jake Nickell, Threadless CEO and Founder. "We were receiving more slogans than we could feasibly print, and this app is a fun and engaging solution that allows anyone to bring their words to life on a tee. Whether you come up with a ridiculous slogan that must be commemorated, or want to represent your baseball team with the perfect hilarious mantra, Type Tees lets you speak your mind through an original tee fit for any situation."
Type Tees' features allow users to easily:
- Create, order and purchase text-based tees in a matter of minutes
- Print personal slogans on tees through an easy-to-use interface
- Choose from a variety of templates to make each tee their own
- Share designs with friends through interactive social media capabilities
As with the Threadless app, the Type Tees app was developed by Prolific Interactive, a New York and San Francisco-based company that specializes in mobile products for leading brands and startups. Both the Type Tees and Threadless apps are now available for free download via Apple's AppStore.
Threadless is also running a limited time promotion for a $5 credit for any new downloads of the Type Tees app.
Threadless is a creative community that makes, supports, and buys great art. Thousands of people worldwide submit their designs online. Our community picks the ones that get made into t-shirts, bags, wall art, and more. When you buy from us, you support the artist who created the design. Join our community, learn how it works, and submit your own art at Threadless.com! Now also with our unique-for-mobile app, Type Tees.

Regulatory requirements exist to promote the controlled sharing of information, while protecting the privacy and/or security of the information. Regulations for each type of information have their own set of rules, policies, and guidelines. Cloud Service Providers (CSP) are faced with increasing demand for services at decreasing prices. Demonstrating and maintaining compliance with regulations is a nontrivial task and doing so against numerous sets of regulatory requirements can be daunting task...

Extracting business value from Internet of Things (IoT) data doesn’t happen overnight. There are several requirements that must be satisfied, including IoT device enablement, data analysis, real-time detection of complex events and automated orchestration of actions. The Internet of Things (IoT) promises to simplify and streamline our lives by automating routine tasks that distract us from our goals. This promise is based on the ubiquitous deployment of smart, connected devices that link everything from industrial control systems to automobiles to refrigerators. Unfortunately, comparatively few of the devices currently deployed have been developed with an eye toward security, and as the DDoS attacks of late October 2016 have demonstrated, this oversight can ...

DevOps is being widely accepted (if not fully adopted) as essential in enterprise IT. But as Enterprise DevOps gains maturity, expands scope, and increases velocity, the need for data-driven decisions across teams becomes more acute. DevOps teams in any modern business must wrangle the ‘digital exhaust’ from the delivery toolchain, "pervasive" and "cognitive" computing, APIs and services, mobile devices and applications, the Internet of Things, and now even blockchain. In this power panel at @...
