TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 04/28/14 -- Mr. Deepak Ruparell (the "Offeror") has acquired beneficial ownership and control of 1,427,000 common shares (the "Common Shares") in the capital of Northampton Group Inc. (the "Corporation") representing approximately 5.47% of the issued and outstanding Common Shares. Immediately after the acquisition, the Offeror beneficially owns and controls 3,922,550 Common Shares, representing approximately 15.04% of the issued and outstanding Common Shares.
The acquisition of Common Shares by the Offeror was made for investment purposes. The Offeror may from time to time dispose of, or acquire, additional securities of the Corporation.
This press release is issued pursuant to National Instrument 62-103 - The Early Warning System and Related Take-Over Bid and Insider Reporting Issues, which also requires a report to be filed with regulatory authorities in each of the jurisdictions in which the Corporation is a reporting issuer containing information with respect to the foregoing matters (the "Early Warning Report").
