Brookfield Funds' Monthly Dividend Declaration

NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- (Marketwired) -- 05/02/14 -- Brookfield Global Listed Infrastructure Income Fund Inc. (NYSE:INF), Brookfield High Income Fund Inc. (NYSE:HHY), Brookfield Mortgage Opportunity Income Fund Inc. (NYSE:BOI) and Brookfield Total Return Fund Inc. (NYSE:HTR) (each, a "Fund," and collectively, the "Funds") today announced that their Boards of Directors declared their monthly dividends.

Brookfield Global Listed Infrastructure Income Fund Inc. declared a monthly dividend of $0.1167 per share payable on May 29, 2014 to stockholders of record on May 15, 2014. The ex-dividend date is May 13, 2014. Based on the NYSE closing price of $22.65 on May 1, 2014, the Fund's annualized distribution yield was 6.18%.

Brookfield High Income Fund Inc. declared a monthly dividend of $0.075 per share, payable on May 29, 2014, to stockholders of record on May 15, 2014. The ex-dividend date is May 13, 2014. Based on the NYSE closing price of $10.24 on May 1, 2014, the Fund's annualized distribution yield was 8.79%.

Brookfield Mortgage Opportunity Income Fund Inc. declared a monthly dividend of $0.1271 per share, payable on May 29, 2014 to stockholders of record on May 15, 2014. The ex-dividend date is May 13, 2014. Based on the NYSE closing price of $17.10 on May 1, 2014, the Fund's annualized distribution yield was 8.92%.

Brookfield Total Return Fund Inc. declared a monthly dividend of $0.19 per share, payable on May 29, 2014 to stockholders of record on May 15, 2014. The ex-dividend date is May 13, 2014. Based on the NYSE closing price of $24.42 on May 1, 2014, the Fund's annualized distribution yield was 9.34%.

Shares purchased on or after the ex-dividend date will not receive the dividend discussed above. Please contact your financial advisor with any questions. The distribution yield referenced above is calculated as the annualized amount of the most recent monthly dividend declared divided by the stated stock price.
