Urban Ag Corp (OTC:AQUM) (the “Company”), announced today that Terra Asset Management, Inc. (“TAM”), an operating unit of its wholly-owned subsidiary Greenwire Enterprises, Inc., has now be awarded 4 additional microwave sites for the microwave expansion project for a tier one carrier into the Rocky Mountain Region.
TAM has added radio and tower crews for the new region, expecting the project to run through the end of the year. In addition, TAM was recently been awarded a new contract for Radio Traffic Integration for the tier one carrier. This project was awarded to TAM based upon the high level of radio technician certifications and ability to migrate live traffic onto completed new-build microwave cell sites.
B&R Telephone (“B&R”), an operating unit of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Greenwire Enterprises, Inc., has been awarded numerous projects to provide voice and/or data services for local businesses in the Corpus Christi area including Spohn Hospital, NET Engineering, Telaid, Shopper Track, Lunquist, Camden Properties, T R C A, Tech Services Today, Integrity Communications, San Patricio Juvenile Detention, St. Phillips Church, Stripes LLC, C-3 INC, Sinder Services, A T C Tech Solutions, and Brand Energy Corp.
In addition, Green Wire, Inc. ("GWI"), an operating unit of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Greenwire Enterprises, Inc., has been awarded the following projects: voice and data services in the San Antonio and Austin area for T-Mobile; electronic equipment replacement services for four Payless Shoe locations; and installation projects for Network Engineering Technologies, Telaid and Shopper Track.
GWI has also signed an agreement with SBA Communications Corporation (SBA), a leading independent owner and operator of wireless communications infrastructure across North, Central, and South America, to do installations and commissioning of Cellular and Micro Link Tower services.
Greenwire Enterprises’ operating subsidiaries serve a wide customer base that includes telecom customers such as Verizon, Motorola, Alcatel-Lucent, Time Warner and general contractors serving national customers such as Wal-Mart, CVS and Gulf Marine. The subsidiaries also network and design services to a multiple of state and county government agencies, colleges and schools in the Texas market.
