NSF-Certified Products Soon Available in the Niwali Test-O-Boost Health Store

MIAMI, FL -- (Marketwired) -- 05/06/14 -- The National Science Foundation (NSF) announced the promotion of two leaders last week: Tom Chestnut was appointed Senior Vice President of the foundation's global food division and Chandana Kathuria is the new Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer/Lean Program Leader. Chestnut and Kathuria both bring many years of experience to their respective new jobs. Chestnut has worked for over 25 years in the food safety field, is a co-founder of the Food Safety Leadership Council and was awarded Industry Sanitarian of the Year by the National Environmental Health Association. Kathuria led the Discovery Technologies Program as well as the Discovery Research Informatics & Global Program Management before joining NSF eleven years ago.

The National Science Foundation is a US government agency headquartered in Arlington, Virgina. It was formed in 1950 and supports education and research in all non-medical fields of science. Aside from funding and supporting the research projects of individuals or mid-scale research centers across the entire country, the NSF plays a crucial role in the supervision of safety and quality standards in the dietary food industry. Due to the increasing focus on a healthy lifestyle, dietary supplements are more popular than ever. This opens at the same time the doors for low-quality, or even dangerous products that are being sold to unsuspecting customers. In an effort to not only sell high-quality products, but also give customers assurance and the peace of mind that they can safely consume supplements, Niwali Test-O-Boost Health Store decided to procure products from a NSF-certified laboratory.

Thanks to this certificate, Niwali will be able to guarantee customers that the certified products underwent a toxicology and formulation review, were tested for contaminants and were produced in compliance with good manufacturing practices. Before a product receives the certificate, NSF carries out a product evaluation through a third-party laboratory and inspects the manufacturing facility. For Niwali this is another step towards their goal of providing customers with constantly improving, high-quality products. Only recently the company announced a major change in their product range by switching from gelatin capsules to vegetable caps. While the active ingredients remain the same, consumers have now the added advantage of a healthier shell that even vegans can swallow without any reasons for concern.

The ingredients that Niwali Test-O-Boost Health Store uses for its supplements are based on natural remedies and the wisdom of century-old knowledge about plants and herbs from Chinese, Ayurvedic and even Shamanic medicine which are used in their extensive portfolio, including products for weight management, cleansing & detox, disease fighting, immune boosters, personal care and vitamins & supplements. A great example is the company's signature product, Advanced Test-O-Boost, a popular muscle mass booster for men, which works by increasing the testosterone levels. While many comparable supplements revert to chemicals, the scientists that developed Advanced Test-O-Boost explored the effects that natural ingredients have on the human body. The result is a formula that contains Tribulus Terrestrics, L-Arginine and even Ginseng, providing an amazing boost and scientifically proven effectiveness through these powerful natural ingredients.

Blockchain. A day doesn’t seem to go by without seeing articles and discussions about the technology. According to PwC executive Seamus Cushley, approximately $1.4B has been invested in blockchain just last year. In Gartner’s recent hype cycle for emerging technologies, blockchain is approaching the peak. It is considered by Gartner as one of the ‘Key platform-enabling technologies to track.’ While there is a lot of ‘hype vs reality’ discussions going on, there is no arguing that blockchain is b...
As Marc Andreessen says software is eating the world. Everything is rapidly moving toward being software-defined – from our phones and cars through our washing machines to the datacenter. However, there are larger challenges when implementing software defined on a larger scale - when building software defined infrastructure. In his session at 16th Cloud Expo, Boyan Ivanov, CEO of StorPool, provided some practical insights on what, how and why when implementing "software-defined" in the datacent...
You know you need the cloud, but you’re hesitant to simply dump everything at Amazon since you know that not all workloads are suitable for cloud. You know that you want the kind of ease of use and scalability that you get with public cloud, but your applications are architected in a way that makes the public cloud a non-starter. You’re looking at private cloud solutions based on hyperconverged infrastructure, but you’re concerned with the limits inherent in those technologies.
ChatOps is an emerging topic that has led to the wide availability of integrations between group chat and various other tools/platforms. The need for greater agility and scalability necessitated the digital transformation in the form of following equation: monolithic to microservices to serverless architecture (FaaS).
