Treasure Match has just released its newest game on the App Store and Google Play. Treasure Match was created by 19Studios, but the idea came from Treasure Match CEO, Oliver Galang. Treasure Match should become one of the greatest gaming apps in the already competitive gaming app market.
Treasure Match is a mix between a slot machine game and a matching game. The competitiveness comes from the friends on Facebook. Although Treasure Match is easy to play, it is very difficult to earn points. Unlike most gaming apps, Treasure Match is free. Treasure Match makes its revenue strictly on advertisements. "I didn't want to charge anyone 99-cents to play my game. I just wanted them to have fun and share their score on Facebook," said Oliver Galang.
When asked about the idea of Treasure Match, Galang said, "I just saw my girlfriend scratching a Scratcher and thought, 'Hmm, maybe I can make a game out of this.'" And that's how the whole idea began. He thought about his past experience about gambling. He played blackjack a lot, but could never figure out why people were addicted to slots. The only thing that he liked about slots was the bonus round.
Galang thought that if he could make a game with a bonus round after every spin, it would become a big hit. And he was right! The game allows people to share their score on Facebook. But don't be alarmed if your friend can score 100 points and you can only score a big fat zero. The game is solely based on luck and the chances of getting 3 matching treasure chests is slim to none. The highest score would be a possible 2,000. However, the highest score right now is 500...which is currently held by the CEO, Oliver Galang.

The Internet of Things will challenge the status quo of how IT and development organizations operate. Or will it?
