Congresswoman Jackie Speier to Deliver Golden Gate University School of Law Commencement

Environmental Lawyer Paul Vince (JD 94) Also to Be Given Honors.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 05/06/14 -- Jackie Speier, Congresswoman for the 14th Congressional District, with a public service career spanning three decades, will deliver Golden Gate University School of Law's 2014 Commencement address at Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco on May 15, at 11 a.m. Congresswoman Speier has more than 29 years of representative public service, and has been a fierce advocate for veterans, the prevention of gun violence, and in 2012 was named among Newsweek's "150 fearless women" in the world.

Additionally, Golden Gate University President Dan Angel will present Paul T. Vince (JD 94) with an honorary Doctor of Laws degree at the ceremony.

About Paul Vince (JD 94)
Paul Vince's pre-law career in biomedical/biotechnology included the founding of a medical device company that developed and patented products that were distributed globally. Vince has served as in-house counsel with major technology companies, including serving as general counsel for a global software company. Today, Vince is an entrepreneurial lawyer, providing project-based legal services for start-up and established businesses.

Paul's education includes a BA in biology, graduate studies in biochemistry and immunology, an MBA in Marketing/Finance. He earned his JD from GGU Law in 1994 and is licensed to practice in California, Colorado, Maryland, Virginia, and before the U.S Patent and Trademark Office.
