(NYSE: WBC) (www.wabco-auto.com), a global technology leader and tier-one supplier to the commercial vehicle industry, rounded off yet another successful year in China by receiving a record-number 15 awards from leading industry bodies, customers and peers in recognition of the company's outstanding performance on improving customer service through innovation and productivity.
Twelve of the awards were received from leading commercial vehicle manufacturers, including China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Jinan Truck, Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor, Beiqi Foton Motor, Foton Auv Bus, Beiqi Foton Motor, Xiamen King Long United Automotive Industry Company, China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Hangzhou Engine, Sinotruk (Hong Kong) Ltd. Jinan Power Division, BEIBEN Trucks Group, and Anhui Ankai Automobile.
For eight years in a row, WABCO received the Excellent Supplier Award from Sinotruk (Hong Kong) Ltd. Jinan Power Division and China Heavy Duty Truck Group Hangzhou Engine.
In addition to the recognition from customers, WABCO also won five awards from industry bodies and peers, praising the company's performance in areas such as environmental stewardship and innovations in technology.
