Kopin Corporation, the world leader in microdisplays for wearable computing technologies and solutions, today announced the company will exhibit their latest technologies geared towards the growing smart eyewear and headset markets during the SID Display Week conference from June 1-6, 2014. On June 3, Kopin’s President and CEO, Dr. John C.C. Fan, will address the conference, speaking on the newest innovations in this quickly developing space. Kopin’s exhibit will include display and optics technologies, as well as hands-on demonstrations of its concept designs including the PupilTM and White Pearl™ microdisplay modules. Kopin will provide more detail on its product vision for wearable technologies and its plans to meet demand in the wearable technology market.
“We believe wearables are the next breakthrough to integrating computing technologies into our everyday lives. Our recent innovations are designed to meet the needs of the industry,” said Dr. Fan. “SID Display Week is a perfect time to show the community our leading-edge products and future vision.”
Kopin’s family of micro-LCDs produce the first truly invisible display for smart eyeglasses and are available immediately for rapid development and integration with mobile and wearable technology partners. The advancements to be exhibited at the show build on Kopin’s strong history of providing microdisplays to the military and telecommunications industry, and chart the path forward for smart headsets to seamlessly become part of everyday lives.
Kopin will join technology and product providers to showcase how new display technologies are being fused into new products. As the wearable ecosystem grows, Kopin is focused on providing new solutions to help partners develop their own systems more rapidly. The Display Week show is well-placed to connect the growing wearable industry with the well-established telecommunications players in the area.
Throughout the week, Kopin invites exhibitors, attendees, investors and media to visit them at booth #1812. They will also be hosting private meetings for individuals to interact directly with their unique wearable displays and newly announced offerings from Display Week.
Please contact Lisa Safran, [email protected] or 508-870-5959, if you are interested in meeting with Kopin during the conference.
